F3 is the debug menu. It allows you to view coordinates and light levels.

Monsters/Mobs spawn anywhere with light levels lower than 7.

Phantoms spawn if you don't sleep for at least 3 days

Wandering traders and trader llamas will despawn every 40 minutes. Kill the trader and the trader llamas for leather and leads.

Diamonds are available at Y=12 and below, and each chunk only has 1 vein of diamond ore. I suggest strip-mining at both Y=12 and Y=6 and make each strip one x or z coordinate off to maximize the chances of finding diamonds.
